The Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) call worship events Meetings for Worship (MfW) rather than services. In a Quaker meeting for worship a group of people sits in a room or outdoors in silence for an hour. From time to time someone may speak briefly, but sometimes the entire hour may pass without a word being spoken. Come sit with us.
Early Meeting for Worship has two options: (1) Wherever you are to be spiritually connected, but physically apart without technology. (2) In-person and outside at the meetinghouse (masks optional).
Meeting for Worship with Attention to Business. All are welcome to attend Meeting for Worship with Attention to Business — either in person (masks optional) at the Meetinghouse or via Zoom, whichever way feels most comfortable to you.

Following Meeting for Worship, potluck provides an opportunity for everyone to socialize.
- For those at the meetinghouse, please bring a dish to share (or your own food if you feel more comfortable). We will have seating outside as weather permits.
- For those joining worship on-line, the Zoom link for 11:00 Worship will stay open for informal gathering. Get some food and join others online for a virtual potluck.
- On-line (using Zoom). When possible the two worship gatherings will be connected or “blended” via technology.

Our first listening session to discuss the AFM Building Fund will be a blended meeting, both at the meeting house and on Zoom.
Friends attending the meeting in person are invited to bring dessert items to share. We would appreciate an RSVP from those who are planning to attend in person so we can prepare the MPR appropriately.
We believe that people are yearning for opportunities for fact-based discernment, and are proposing that this first meeting focus on:
1) Presenting the history and information we have available about the Building Fund
2) Asking what additional information people feel is needed and discussing the process of getting that information
3) Generating a list of considerations/issues/concerns that are likely to surface during the discernment process
If you cannot attend the currently scheduled meeting, either in person or on Zoom, we plan to record the session so it can be viewed at a convenient time. We also welcome people providing questions or comments as we prepare our presentation.
All are welcome to attend and participate.
Zoom Link TBD
