Come learn how what we breathe affects us and the lives of our children. Dangerously high levels of fine- and superfine- particulate matter air pollution is often found near busy roadway, power plants and airports. Learn how citizen scientists can measure this air pollution. Strategize together regarding how we can have state and local officials curb air pollution and fight climate change!
We will hear from:
Dr. Sacoby Wilson, Maryland Institute for Applied Environmental Health, and
Tamara Toles O’Laughlin, Maryland Environmental Health Network.
We will discuss how to monitor air pollution from our transportation system and what our governments can do to curb air pollution and fight climate change.
